There is a particular pleasure in seeing a date on the calendar that is just for you. Not a pickup, not a practice, not a playdate you are hosting. An afternoon someone else has planned, where the only thing you need to bring is yourself.
On Saturday, November 7, Rowdy Moms is marking two years of bringing San Diego County moms together, and the celebration is coming to the ranch. We are delighted to be the setting.
Admission is $65 per person, paid to Rowdy Moms through Venmo.
A community worth celebrating
Rowdy Moms began with a simple idea: moms deserve friends who get it, and plans that reach beyond everyday mom life. For two years the group has brought local moms together to build friendships, support one another and try new experiences side by side. An anniversary is a chance to look around and see how far that idea has come.
The afternoon is built for connection: easy conversation, new faces and a setting that does half the work of getting people talking.

Picture the afternoon
Arrive in the warm light of a fall afternoon in the Poway hills. Browse tables set up by local small businesses, stop for a photo with the horses that you will actually want to post, and catch up with friends old and new as the shadows stretch across the valley.
As the sun lowers, everyone gathers on the deck for a group sound bath led by Sacred Sound Haven: a slower, quieter moment to close the day together before heading home.

Want to see the ranch from the saddle? San Diego Trail Company is offering 15-minute trail rides for $26.50, separate from the $65 admission. There is no need to book ahead: sign up and pay for your ride at the event.
Why the ranch
Rustic Ranch Experience sits on a private, 12-acre working horse ranch above Poway, with sweeping mountain views, chaparral hillsides and horses that live here. Flexible spaces, from the hilltop Pointe to the open-air Arena and the Rustic Party Area, let each gathering take its own shape, and hosts are free to bring the vendors they love. We also offer event planning and coordination, so hosts can spend the day with their guests. For this celebration, we are providing the setting and helping plan the afternoon. Rowdy Moms is the host.
